Jacob is a big, strong RHP with a very quick arm and a low to mid 90’s fastball with very good movement. His breaking ball has tight rotation and late, sharp action. His large frame along with two present plus pitches have him steadily emerging as one of the premier right handed pitches in the 2009 class.

Pitching for Westminster Christian Academy, opponents hit only .148 against Jacob.  He ended the season with a 5-2 record, 1.45 ERA and 92 strikeouts in 43 1/3 innings pitched.
